Practical network engineering
We plan to offer scoped network design, router and firewall configuration, fault finding and documentation. Each job will begin with an agreed brief covering the equipment, access required and intended result.
- Router, firewall and VLAN configuration on supported equipment.
- Investigation of routing, connectivity and performance faults.
- Network diagrams, configuration records and handover guidance.
- Remote engineering, with onsite work and travel quoted where available.
VPN setup
A planned configuration service for supported site-to-site and remote-access VPNs. The starting price covers a straightforward agreed setup. Additional sites, users, hardware, software licences and complex network changes will be quoted separately.
Help with your existing Lodestar static IP plan
Lodestar's public IPv4 tunnel service is already available at £3.50 a month for the 500 Mb/s profile or £4.50 a month for the 1,000 Mb/s profile. We plan to add an optional paid setup service to configure a compatible customer-owned device and check the agreed routing. The setup service is coming soon; the existing tunnel subscription is separate.

These engineering and setup services are coming soon. Proposed prices are subject to the agreed scope. We are not accepting orders or deposits for these new services, and no launch date is confirmed.
